Ivette Maritza Sosa was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey U.S. She began dancing at three years old. She appeared on Broadway as an understudy in the short-lived production of "Latinologues," directed by Cheech Marin.
She was a member of the now defunct pop group, Eden's Crush, who were formed after winning the American version of Popstars. Eden's Crush produced a #1 single "Get Over Yourself" and their debut album Popstars was certified Gold. The group toured with NSync and Jessica Simpson while dazzling fans at concerts and radio appearances across the country.
Although popular, Eden's Crush parted ways in early 2002 because of a lack of label support. Ivette has refocused her energies on acting post Eden's Crush.
